‘The daily butterflies of Risnjak’ brochure
As part of the Veze prirode project, NP Risnjak implemented measures to improve the conservation status of butterflies and their habitats. In cooperation with the project partner, the Hyla Association, research was carried out on day and night butterfly species, especially target species – Marsh Fritillary and Large Copper, and guidelines for grassland management related to these species were developed. In order to restore and preserve their habitats, the overgrown grasslands in the area of the Risnjak National Park were mowed and mulched on two occasions.
As a result of stated activities, this brochure was created with which you can peek into the wonderful world of day butterflies of the Risnjak National Park.
