The first working meeting of the partners on the ‘Vezi narave/Veze prirode’ project
The first working meeting of the partners on the ‘Vezi narave/Veze prirode’ project, which takes place within the framework of the Interreg V-A Cooperation Program Slovenia – Croatia, was held on 25th September 2018 in Grosuplje. The purpose of the meeting was to present partners and the work of their institutions, to present work packages for which the individual partner is in charge of and to review an overall plan of the project itself as well as an initial agreement on the implementation of the activities in the first period.

The main goal of the ‘Vezi narave/Veze prirode’ project is to ensure the sustainability of conservation and restoration of target species in protected areas of Natura 2000: Sutla and Kupa rivers, National park Risnjak, Radensko polje and Kamačnik canyon.
The project includes seven partners from Slovenia and Croatia. The Municipality of Grosuplje is a leading partner, while other partners are Municipality of Rogaška Slatina, Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Conservation, Public Institution for the management of protected areas in Krapina-Zagorje County, Town of Vrbovsko, Public Institution National Park Risnjak and Hyla Association.
The project started on September 1st 2018 and will last 30 months. The total amount of the project is 2,553,908.00 EUR of which 85% is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
